What I usually do at my internship is like a daily routine thing when I get there I received a key and start by feeding an enclosure full of seabirds after that My partner and I start to do daily cleaning this is clean the cages of every single bird at the site after that we feed the birds looking at the feeding chart. then after we do all this then we start to prepare the food for the next day and everything that they eat is prepared a day before after we are completely done with the food prep for every single bird we assert to do the second leg of feedings and after that we get to lunch time and right after lunch we do detailed cleanings and what this is is basically cleanings again but in detailed like the fences the poop the branches eat. once in a while there's a keeper that makes us do mini projects whether it is renewing a bird cage or making shade for the bird. almost everything that we do here is a daily based rutin and am running of things to talk about because it's the same every day.

ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Living Coast Discovery Center
- I had one of the greatest opportunity in life, which was to be accepted to intern at the living coast discovery center. The living coast discovery center is an environmental education center with marine animal, animal and bird exhibits. It's a national wildlife refuge that tries its best to help animals in need whether they are injured animals and if they are animals with no homes they try to find the best possible home for such animal. Some of the things I did over at the living coast were preparing the animals food, cleaning the exhibits and feeding the animals. The thing that best help me to be better at what I was doing was taking my time to looking at things with more clarity so tight I can resolve any problem to the bets of my ability.
- This project helped me understand the problems with refugees and migrants face and the complexities in supporting them. It was an experience where we had to learn and talk about the things that people go through every single day. We made an art display representing their challenges.
- I represented Australia and the topic we discussed with other nation representatives was the Syrian refugee crisis. The Australian position that I defended was to stop taking in more refugees, but to assist other nations financially in taking refugees. Something that I learned about global interactions was that countries have to respect each other in order for things to be resolved peacefully.
Mad Props 2016
- I created an informative voting poster about laws on the ballot in 2016. I presented information to voters about Proposition 64, which was an effort to legalize Marijuana in California which ultimately passed and became law in 2017.
EXPERIENCE WITH WILDLIFE AND CONSERVATION
- I have been birdwatching, it's something that really interest me because of hundreds and hundreds species that exist.
- I have done Beach Cleanup with a nonprofit organization and with my family.
- I have worked with kids in a daycare facility. I helped the people in charge by watching the kids and feeding them.
- I regularly translate information from English to Spanish for my family.
- Soccer, volunteering experience at Border Angels , volunteering for homeless shelters
